Service areas · Kansas City metro

Roughly an hour, in every direction.

Burnett's works out of Pleasant Valley, a small Clay County town on I-35 between Liberty and North Kansas City. Everything gets built on site, so the drive is part of the job. About an hour is the honest radius, and it covers the whole metro on both sides of the state line.

Pages for the towns we work most often

Liberty, MO

Minutes away and sharing our zip code. Historic square venues, north side subdivisions and the busiest graduation calendar in the county.

Gladstone, MO

Community rooms, church halls and postwar ranch homes. The town where freestanding pieces do most of the work.

North Kansas City, MO

Business installs along Armour Road, tall commercial ceilings and grand openings that have to be finished before doors open.

Overland Park, KS

The far end of the range, across the state line. Two story foyers, vaulted great rooms and the Johnson County corporate corridor.

Missouri side

Everything north and east of the river, plus the metro core and the eastern suburbs:

Pleasant Valley Liberty Gladstone North Kansas City Kearney Smithville Excelsior Springs Claycomo Randolph Riverside Parkville Platte City Richmond Henrietta Downtown Kansas City River Market Briarcliff Independence Blue Springs Lee's Summit Raytown Grandview

Kansas side

The state line is a line on a map, not a limit on the calendar. Johnson County and Wyandotte County are both in range:

Overland Park Leawood Prairie Village Mission Merriam Shawnee Lenexa Olathe Kansas City, KS Bonner Springs Basehor Leavenworth Lansing De Soto

Sitting right on the edge?

The hour is a guideline rather than a fence. If your venue is a little past it and the date works, it is usually still a yes. Send the address and you will get a straight answer rather than a maybe.

Why the map matters for balloon work

Nothing here is shipped. A finished garland cannot survive being transported whole, so every piece gets assembled at your venue on the day. That makes the distance between our shop and your room a real constraint rather than a marketing line.

Being close buys three practical things. Setup windows can be tight without becoming risky. Takedown can happen the same night instead of the next morning. And if something fails before your event starts, a repair trip is a short drive rather than an apology.

The further out a booking sits, the more those three things depend on planning. That is why a Kansas side job leans harder on lead time and on day-before venue access than one five minutes up the road in Liberty. Same work, more scheduling.

Two things worth sending with the address

A photo of the space, and the venue's decor policy if it is a rented room. Those two attachments answer more questions than any amount of description, and they are the difference between a quote and a guess.

What we bring, wherever it is

The same five services go everywhere: arches and garlands, columns and towers, centerpieces and table decor, full event styling and specialty and custom designs. Delivery, installation and takedown are inside every quote, in every town on this page.

Send the address. We will tell you yes or no.

No guessing about whether you are in range. Send the date and the venue and you will hear back inside 24 to 48 hours with a straight answer and a price.
